Xtreme Testosterone Review
Xtreme Testosterone is a supplement that claims to be able to help increase your testosterone levels. There are some good qualities and ingredients, but there are also some things that give us reason to not want to recommend this supplement.
Make sure you read this Xtreme Testosterone review to learn why we don’t recommend it and go check out our list of the Top 10 Testosterone Boosters to see some supplements we DO recommend.
The Benefits of Xtreme Testosterone
- Can help increase muscle mass
- Promotes higher nitric oxide levels
- Could increase libido and virility
How Does Xtreme Testosterone Work?
Xtreme Testosterone is based on the concept of natural testosterone boosting through herbal ingredients. There are several natural substances out there which are believed to be able to help stimulate the body to produce more of its own testosterone. Theoretically, this would be much more preferable over testosterone gels or injections.
Testosterone gels are used by a lot of guys with Low T (low testosterone levels) because it is basically like taking straight up testosterone, which can produce great benefits. The problem with these however is that the side effects tend to be significant, and the testosterone is synthetic.
Due to the inauthentic nature of the testosterone when it comes to gels and injections, it may not be properly utilized. Because of all the issues with these methods, natural testosterone boosters were invented.
We recommend any natural testosterone supplement over any sort of synthetic method, but there are a great number of T boosters out there, so it can be hard to choose. Let’s make some things a little easier for you here…our advice would be to avoid Xtreme Testosterone and instead check out our other testosterone booster reviews.
Xtreme Testosterone Ingredients
Here we have one of the most well know nitric oxide boosters out there. It may not necessarily contribute directly to testosterone boosting, but it can have some benefits in terms of getting a good pump in the gym and muscle growth promotion. L-Arginine can significantly improve symptoms of erectile dysfunction, as well.
Glutamine is another BCAA (branched chain amino acid) that can be very beneficial for muscle growth and recovery. With that said, we again don’t really see the reason for it in the context of a testosterone booster. It can help you with your workouts, but there isn’t a lot of evidence that it can actually increase T levels.
While it may be just a basic vitamin, it is the most well-known vitamin in terms of testosterone production. People have been taking Vitamin D to help with Low T (low testosterone) for a long time. There’s a good amount of evidence it works, and we see it as a solid addition to any testosterone supplement. To be honest, vitamin D is the bee’s knees for lots of health-related issues, including fighting depression and diseases. (source)
Ginseng is another ingredient that is commonly used for boosting testosterone levels. There is some evidence it works, and many people believe it can also help increase libido and enhance sexual performance.
Basically every testosterone booster out there should contain this stuff as far as we are concerned. Almost everyone who tries it loves it, and there are so many clinical trials at this point, that it’s pretty hard to deny its efficacy.
- Includes a potential nitric oxide boosting ingredient
- Uses Glutamine, which can help with growth and recovery
- Certain ingredients may promote improved sexual performance
- The website is kind of sketchy looking, and the only way to buy it is by signing up for a free trial
- It’s hard to find the label for this supplement anywhere so we don’t really know how high the dosages of ingredients are
- It really doesn’t include that many T boosting ingredients as far as we can see
The Final Verdict
Xtreme Testosterone is overall one of our least favorite testosterone boosters we have reviewed. It contains some good ingredients for getting a pump in the gym and supporting muscle growth but doesn’t have a really significant T boosting component.
Several people have also complained that they signed up for the free trial and ended up being charged somehow. Our recommendation: steer clear of Xtreme Testosterone and explore our Top 10 Testosterone Boosters instead.
