Syntheroid is an all natural testosterone supplement with a lot of clinical evidence for its claims. The website is very well put together, and it appears that the stuff really works…but when it comes down to it, all that matters is the nutrition label. Ingredients matter, as they say, and it is time we put those ingredients to the test.
Read this Syntheroid review to see why we don’t recommend Syntheroid and what prevented us from giving it a spot on our list of the Top 10 Testosterone Boosters. Hint: it wasn’t just our snobbery, this product has some issues.
Make sure you talk to your doctor if you truly feel you are suffering from symptoms of low testosterone. It isn’t our job to diagnose you, nor our position, it is, however, our job to offer up some natural solutions to those men who know for sure they have some issues in the testosterone department. We’ve built our large fan base on breaking down the ins and outs of all types of natural supplements. We love what we do!
The Claimed Benefits of Syntheroid
- Can help stimulate faster muscle growth
- Could lead to better strength and endurance
- Libido may be increased
- Can give you a natural energy increase
How Does Syntheroid Work?
Syntheroid contains over six ingredients that can potentially stimulate natural testosterone production upon ingestion. All of these ingredients have been clinically tested and showed pretty encouraging results. The key here is that the ingredients help with natural testosterone and NOT synthetic testosterone.
Many people choose to go about increasing their T levels through synthetic manners such as testosterone gels or injections. We don’t recommend these methods because they often can cause a lot of side effects, and your body can be less inclined to use testosterone when it is synthetic rather than authentic.
What we DO recommend however is a combination of at least 5 or 6 natural ingredients in sufficient dosages in order to help stimulate natural test increase…or in other words, a natural testosterone supplement, which is exactly what Syntheroid is.
While we do recommend the natural supplementation route, we actually do not recommend Syntheroid in particular. Take a look at some of our other testosterone booster reviews to see what we DO recommend and see how Syntheroid stacks up to some of the more highly ranked supplements.
Syntheroid Ingredients – What Makes It Work?
D-Aspartic Acid 1,560 MG
D-Aspartic Acid is one of our top 5 favorite testosterone boosting ingredients because we believe its effects to be of very sound theory and have seen plenty of positive user reports. The combination of positive user experiences and clinical data is a very enticing one.
At 1,560 MG per serving, there is a very generous dosage of D-Aspartic Acid here. This high of a dosage is second only to that of TestoTEK and Monster T, which contains 2,000+ milligrams per serving. A good dosage of this ingredient is certainly one of Syntheroid’s best qualities.
Fenugreek Seed Extract 300 MG
Fenugreek was shown in one study to be able to help increase endogenous T levels while also potentially contributing to increased fat loss. If it can truly boost T levels AND help you lose fat, that means it could theoretically both help build muscle and cut fat simultaneously, which would be pretty awesome.
Tribulus Terrestris 300 MG
One study showed that users of Tribulus Terrestris experienced a considerable strength increase compared to the other group of participants who were not taking the supplement. The results show that users were able to lift more weight while taking it, but whether or not we can directly attribute those results to this one ingredient is up in the air.
Horny Goat Weed 100 MG
This ingredient is exactly how it sounds. The theory is that it can improve blood circulation and thereby allow you to achieve better erections and potentially experience an increase in libido. Men with Low T (low testosterone levels) need a good sexual enhancement ingredient, and this could be exactly that (source).
- High formula diversity
- Has an overall potency of about 2,500 MG per serving
- Does not use proprietary blends
- All individual dosages are high
- Doesn’t contain Zinc, which we think is vital for any testosterone booster
The Final Verdict
As you can see, there are a lot of good things to say about Syntheroid and not a whole lot of bad things. XPI (the manufacturer) did just about everything right with this supplement. While there isn’t a lot to complain about, when we compare it to our top ranked supplements on the website, we still don’t see it as one of the top 10.
With that said, Syntheroid just barely didn’t make the top 10. It was pretty tough not to include it, but we simply believe that these other supplements had it beat out. Anyways, the bottom line is that we think Syntheroid is a great supplement but simply don’t believe it’s great enough (although it was very close) to make our list of the Top 10 Testosterone Boosters.
