by Joe Costello, CNC | Testosterone Boosters

Blue star status pills outside of the bottleBlue Star Status is a testosterone booster designed by Blue Star Nutraceuticals to help correct symptoms of Low T (low testosterone). Guys with Low T have about a million testosterone boosters to choose from, so how do you go about making sure you pick the right one?

Read this Blue Star Status review to learn why we do NOT recommend it, and find out why it fell short of earning a spot on our list of the Best Testosterone Supplements.

Blue Star Status review by a Certified Nutrition Coach: Is Blue Star Status any good?

Let’s cut to the chase – no, the Blue Star Status testosterone booster is not any good. It only provides about 1,200 milligrams worth of nutrients per serving. If that sounds like a lot to you, let’s put it into perspective. Our top three ranked test boosters all provide a minimum of 2,500 milligrams per serving, making all three of them over twice as potent as this one. Blue Star Status is simply too weak compared to the elite testosterone boosters, but I still felt it was worth testing out, so I bought a 30 day supply, and here’s what happened…

My Personal Experience And Results With Blue Star Status

I just explained to you that the formula is weak, but that doesn’t necessarily mean the supplest does not work, so I figured I would test it out for you guys. I am a Certified Nutrition Coach, and I don’t like to recommend supplements to my clients unless I have tried them myself. I took a 30 day supply of the Blue Star Status testosterone booster, and here’s what I found…

Quite frankly, my experience with the Status test booster was very bad. It didn’t cause side effects or anything scary like that…it just very simply didn’t work. The most likely reason for it not working is the very low overall potency. Like I mentioned before, it’s just not strong enough to do the trick. With that being said, I still expected at least some results either in the gym or in the bedroom, but I did not get any at all.

With a high quality testosterone booster, you usually get improved strength and stamina in the gym, as well as higher sex drive and better performance in the bedroom. These types of benefits are typically the whole reason men want to take T Boosters to begin with…to get better in bed and in the gym. Well, let me tell you…Blue Stat Status did nothing whatsoever for me in either one of those departments.

After having a super bad personal experience with the Status testosterone booster and getting no results, I went back to my favorite booster: TestoGen. This stuff is absolutely insane. It’s more than twice as potent as the Blue Star supplement, and you can really feel the difference almost immediately. TestoGen makes me an absolute beast both in the gym and the bedroom…even one dose makes a difference for me. But anyways, the bottom line with Blue Star Status is that it just did not work for me. I simply did not experience any results.

What does Blue Star Status do?

What does Status Testosterone Booster do for you? Status is designed to help your body produce more testosterone, which would be entirely possible if they had used higher quality ingredients. Many of their ingredients are questionable, and a couple of their dosage sizes are too low. So, to answer the question “what does it do” – probably not much at all.

Blue Star Status ingredients list

Here is the Blue Star Status blend ingredient list:

  • Zinc
  • Ashwagandha
  • Longjack
  • Diindolylmethane
  • Testosurge
  • Vitamin B6

Zinc

Zinc is trace mineral that has long been used to help naturally boost testosterone levels and sex drive. Many studies have shown that it has tremendous potential. We believe every test booster should include this ingredient, and it’s nice to see the dosage is large enough here at about 30 milligrams per serving. Some case studies also link Zinc to increased muscle mass, which is likely a direct result of the effect it has on testosterone production.

Ashwagandha

Ashwagandha is actually primarily used as a natural cure for anxiety and other conditions of that nature. There is some research that suggests it may be able to boost testosterone levels, but we haven’t seen any really solid evidence.

Exactly why they chose to include this ingredient is a little unclear, but it definitely can at least help balance stress hormones, which is a great benefit.

Longjack

Longjack is an herbal ingredient that actually does not have a ton of proof in terms of its ability to increase testosterone levels, however many studies have shown that it improves libido and erectile function. This is a pretty solid ingredient for guys who are struggling in between the sheets.

Diindolylmethane

The primary benefit of this ingredient is its ability to block estrogen levels from getting to high. When you are increasing your testosterone levels, you can often also inadvertently increase your estrogen levels, which is something you want to avoid.

Ingredients like Diindolylmethane, also known as DIM, can help prevent that increased estrogen production from occurring. Without an ingredient in the formula that can help prevent estrogen production (also known as an estrogen blocker), you may not end up reaping the benefits of the supplement because the estrogen and testosterone essentially cancel each other out.

Testosurge

Testosurge is a particularly concentrated version of an ingredient known as Trigonella Foenum Graecum. In this formula, this is probably the most active ingredient when it comes to actually directly increasing testosterone levels.

It has more proof than any of the other ingredients when it comes to its ability to spike T levels, which makes it a very vital part of this formula. However, the dosage included is not very large at only 100 milligrams per serving.

Vitamin B6

Vitamin B6 is a core ingredient in a lot of testosterone supplements because it has been shown to produce a wide array of health benefits in men. It is not necessarily directly responsible for increasing testosterone, but Vitamin b6 is one of the many vitamins that men tend to be deficient in, which can have negative effects on your health and energy levels.

Blue Star Status pros and cons

Here are the benefits and side effects of the Blue Star Status testosterone supplement.

Blue Star Status benefits

Some of the Status Testosterone Booster health benefits may include increased free testosterone production, higher energy levels, elevated libido, increased muscle mass, and other potential sexual health benefits due to the large dosage of Longjack. There are actually not many ingredients in this formula that are directly linked to an increase in free testosterone production, but a couple including Longjack have been linked to improved sexual health, and some studies have shown it may provide some minor relief to those who suffer from erectile dysfunction.

With that being said, it’s important to note that the benefits are likely to be very limited when compared to that of a truly top notch test booster since the high end supplements are over twice as potent as this one, meaning they are capable of producing twice the benefits, especially with regard to muscle growth, strength, and overall weight training improvements.. Additionally, the high end test boosters generally contain over twice the amount of active ingredients.

Blue Star Status side effects

In our view, side effects are not very likely in this case. The formula is weak, and side effects generally come from formulas that are strong or ingredients that are not natural. This is a 100% natural formula with no “red flag” ingredients, so side effects are not very likely. The serving size is also only 3 capsules, so its’ not like you’re taking in a lot of nutrients here.

However, some people have reported minor side effects including but not limited to upset stomach, headaches, and anxiety. Note that these types of side effects are not common by any means, but it is possible for them to occur if you do not use the supplement properly or are just particularly sensitive to it for whatever reason.

Blue Star Status complaints & praise (Blue Star Status reviews from real users)

While we can come to a confident conclusion on our own based on label analysis, we always like to take a look at what the users are saying. The Blue Star Status reviews submitted by users on Amazon.com left this product with an overall rating of 3.8 stars, which is pretty underwhelming.

3.8 stars overall isn’t horrible, but it’s definitely not good. It’s pretty much the definition of average. Out of a total of roughly 300 total reviews, it appears only 50% of users reported having a positive experience with Blue Star Status. There were a pretty significant amount of customer complaints as well, most of which were about the product simply not working. Some people reported side effects, but the most common of all the customer complaints was just that the product didn’t work.

Don’t get us wrong, this is not necessarily a bad testosterone booster, but we certainly don’t see it as worthy of ranking amongst our top 10 best test boosters. In fact, it doesn’t even come close…more on that in the next section.

Is Blue Star Status worth it? Our Blue Star Status test booster review conclusion

Me holding the blue star status bottleBottom Line: Let’s get down to brass tacks. I do NOT recommend this supplement due to a severe lack of potency compared to its peers. The overall potency is only 1,200 MG per serving, making it half as potent as the top-shelf test boosters. It only contains 5 active ingredients, which is less than half the amount of active ingredients that high end boosters typically contain.

It’s also missing what we consider to be absolutely crucial ingredients such as Saw Palmetto, Fenugreek Extract, and D Aspartic Acid. In fact, it doesn’t even contain Vitamin D, which is one of the crucial building blocks when it comes to testosterone. This is a very basic and necessary ingredient that almost all t boosters include. User reviews are very mixed, with only abut 50% of people reporting positive results. Also, it has a pretty hefty price tag, especially for such a nutritionally weak supplement.

In conclusion, we do not see Blue Star Status as being worth it. We don’t recommend it, and we’d strongly encourage you to have a look at some of the top-ranked boosters to get an idea of what a truly effective testosterone supplement looks like.

Blue Star Status FAQs

Is Blue Star Status safe?

We believe Status Testosterone Booster can be considered safe based on the fact that the formula contains strictly natural ingredients. We don’t see anything in the SFP (supplement facts panel) that would be considered a red flag. However, make sure to talk to your doctor about this first.

Is Blue Star Status FDA approved?

No, Blue Star Status is not FDA approved, but no testosterone booster is. If you’re looking for natural testosterone supplements with Food And Drug Administration approval, you’re going to have an extremely hard time. In fact, I don’t believe that there are any testosterone supplements on the market with FDA approval…they just do not like these products.

Is Blue Star legit?

Yes, Blue Star Nutraceuticals is a legitimate company with a good reputation in the sports nutrition industry. However, the Blue Star Status testosterone booster simply isn’t very good. There’s nothing wrong with the company…the test booster is a different story as it is missing many key ingredients including Saw Palmetto, D Aspartic Acid, and more.

Does Blue Star Status have a money back guarantee?

As far as I can tell from looking at the website, there is no offer for a money back guarantee. I scrolled the website pretty thoroughly and saw no mention of a money back guarantee. This is a bit concerning because most reputable t booster brands usually offer one, so based on this (as well as the pretty wild claims being made on the website), it’s a bit hard to fully trust Blue Star Nutraceuticals.
