Spartagen XT Review

Having low-testosterone is one of the most frustrating things in life. I mean, going to Costco on a Saturday afternoon is certainly no picnic, but low-T remains in the lead when it comes to being a total drag.

Low-T synthetic drugs can almost worsen the situation with their weird side-effects. This is why I created The Supplement Reviews so it could serve as a place for putting on display great natural testosterone booster solutions. Low testosterone can make you feel awful and cause you to suffer from low sex drive and erectile dysfunction issues.

Spartagen XT is a testosterone booster with plenty of clinically tested ingredients, a very diverse formula, and a lot of potential benefits, but is it everything that it appears to be? Read this comprehensive Spartagen XT review to learn why we do NOT recommend it, and see why it failed to earn a spot on our list of the top 10 Testosterone Booster Supplements.

The Benefits of Spartagen XT

Here are the primary Spartagen XT benefits:

  • Can lead to increased sex drive
  • Potentially enhances strength and stamina
  • Helps to increase natural energy levels
  • Has potential to naturally free up testosterone

How Does Spartagen XT Work?

Spartagen XT uses a combination of completely natural ingredients in order to hopefully promote the increased production of testosterone by your body. If you could get your body to manufacture its own testosterone rather than using unnatural methods of testosterone level correction, you could potentially save yourself from having to experience any side effects and allow your body to fully utilize its newly increased testosterone supply.

The way we see it, natural testosterone supplements are the clear winner over synthetic testosterone use such as in the form of testosterone gel or injections, but does that mean that Spartagen XT is your best option?

We don’t think so. Spartagen XT is good, but it simply doesn’t compare to some of the other testosterone supplements that we have reviewed on our site. It would likely be in your best interest to check out some of our other testosterone booster reviews before deciding to purchase Spartagen XT since it is not one of our highly ranked options.

Spartagen XT Ingredients

Here are the primary ingredients in Spartagen XT:

  • Ginseng
  • Tribulus terrestris
  • Maca
  • Tongkat ali

Ginseng is one of the most commonly used ingredients amongst testosterone boosters. There are a few select ingredients that are widely believed to be effective, and Ginseng is one of them because it has been shown in clinical trials to potentially boost the amount of available testosterone in men. Ginseng is possibly the most beneficial ingredient Spartagen XT contains, especially when used in combination with the following ingredients.

Tribulus Terrestris

Tribulus Terrestris is another ingredient that you’ll find in nearly every testosterone supplement on the market because the evidence for its effectiveness is pretty convincing. If you were to try to make a case against Tribulus in terms of its effect on testosterone levels, you would probably have a very hard time. It is considered to be effective because it has been shown in studies to apparently help the body synthesize more of its own natural testosterone in certain participants.

Maca is believed to prevent the hormone prolactin from effecting the amount of testosterone your body is able to synthesize, which in turn could potentially lead to increased utilization of the testosterone your body makes available to you. Maca has also been shown to potentially have a major effect on the user’s sex drive.

Tongkat Ali

Tongkat Ali is one of the primary ingredients in Spartagen XT because it is believed to work in two different ways. First, it is thought to actually increase the total concentration of testosterone after only a couple weeks of use. Second, it can function as an aromatase inhibitor, which essentially means it could theoretically allow testosterone to be more properly utilized and possibly prevent it from going to waste.

The Pros

  • The ingredients are excellent
  • Several clinical studies back the efficacy of most ingredients
  • Contains over 10 testosterone boosting properties

The Cons

  • The overall potency isn’t very high compared to some of the other testo boosters we have reviewed
  • It uses proprietary blends which prevents us from knowing the individual dosages of each ingredient
  • Because of the two prior points, it’s unlikely that Spartagen XT would be as effective as a supplement that doesn’t use proprietary blends and has higher potency

The Final Verdict

Spartagen XT uses high quality ingredients and contains over 10 different testosterone-boosting properties. Those are the positive aspects of it, but it unfortunately isn’t as potent as we would like for it to be and uses proprietary blends. For those reasons, we don’t rank Spartagen XT on top but it’s a quality product. Our recommendation is to check out our Test Boosters main page to see our most highly ranked options.
