Six Star Testosterone Booster Review: My Personal Results

by Joe Costello, CNC | Testosterone Boosters

Six Star Testosterone Booster pills outside of the bottleSix Star Testosterone Booster is a natural supplement that was formulated with athletes in mind. While many natural testosterone boosters can serve as a solution for Low T, we don’t see this one as having that type of potential due to the comparatively low overall potency. However, that’s not to say it can’t produce some benefits for you. Read this Six Star Testosterone Booster review to learn why we did NOT rank it on our list of the top 6 TESTOSTERONE BOOSTERS.

Six Star may be a very recognizable and widely available brand, but that doesn’t mean their Testosterone Booster is any good. We’re going to talk about the biggest downfalls of this supplement and explore the Supplement Facts Panel in depth.

Six Star Testosterone Booster review: Is Six Star Testosterone Booster any good?

To be quite frank, this is actually one of the worst testosterone supplements we have reviewed on our entire site. Six Star testosterone booster delivers about 500 milligrams of nutrients in every serving, which is a shockingly low overall potency level.

To put it into perspective, the standard potency for an elite test booster is about 2,000-2,500 MG per serving. I would strongly encourage you to read about our top ranked testosterone supplement, which is literally 5 times as potent as this product. Click here to see the review: TestoGen Review

My Personal Experience And Results With Six Star Testosterone Booster

I know what you’re probably thinking…if I was just talking about how bad the formula is, why would I personally purchase and test the product? Well, as a Certified Nutrition Coach I believe my readers and my clients deserve to get a complete review. No review is complete without adding in some personal experience, so yes, I wasted some money on this low quality testosterone booster, and here is what I personally experienced…

I took the Six Star Testosterone Booster for 30 days, and if I could summarize the whole experience in one word, it would be this: YIKES. Literally nothing happened. I did not feel anything at all. When I test a testosterone supplement, I am used to getting benefits like improved stamina, endurance, strength, sex drive, libido, etc. I did not get any of those benefits after 30 days of taking Six Star, which is why I would strongly recommend avoiding this product.

After my terrible personal experience with Six Star, I felt the need to go back to my favorite T booster: TestoGen. I love this stuff SO much. It is quite literally 6 times as potent as Six Star, and believe me, you can feel the difference in potency. You can start feeling the effects of Testogen after just one dose. It makes me a beast in both the bedroom and the gym every time I take it. But anyways, back to Six Star…just stay away from this stuff guys…it’s a waste of money in my opinion.

What does Six Star Testosterone Booster do?

What does Six Star Testosterone Booster do for you? As a natural Testosterone Booster, it’s designed to help your increase your body’s natural testosterone production from within. However, if you’re serious about wanting to increase your testosterone levels, you’re going to need a much stronger supplement.

If your goal is to avoid things like testosterone injections, testosterone replacement therapy, etc…then the only alternative is to take a supplement that can help increase your body’s natural testosterone production using ingredients that stimulate that process.

The Six Star Testosterone Booster delivers only 500 milligrams per serving worth of 3 average ingredients, which simply isn’t going to get the job done in my opinion. I have found that you need about 2,000 MG minimum based on my personal experience taking various testosterone booster supplements.

How To Reach Peak Testosterone Levels

There are many ways to boost testosterone production in order to achieve peak testosterone levels, which can have positive effects on athletic performance, including increased muscle growth, strength, and endurance. Here are strategies to naturally boost testosterone production and improve athletic performance:

Regular Strength Training

Engage in consistent strength training exercises. Compound movements like squats, deadlifts, bench presses, and overhead presses have been shown to help boost testosterone production. Aim for a well-rounded strength training program that targets major muscle groups. If you add a testosterone booster into the mix, you should notice that your strength training performance improve over time.

High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)

Incorporate high intensity interval training into your workout routine in order to amplify the benefits of your strength training performance. Short bursts of intense exercise followed by rest periods can help boost your body’s natural testosterone production. Check out this video on my YouTube channel about HIIT if you want to learn about the personal strategy I use to improve athletic performance…

Adequate Sleep

Aside from improving your strength training performance and overall workout routine, you should also ensure you get sufficient and quality sleep. Aim for 7-9 hours of sleep per night, as lack of sleep or poor sleep quality can prevent you from reaching peak testosterone levels.

Balanced Diet

If you really want to reach peak testosterone levels, you should be sure to consume a diet rich in nutrients essential for testosterone production. Include:

    • Protein: Lean meats, fish, eggs, and plant-based protein sources.
    • Healthy Fats: Avocados, nuts, seeds, olive oil, and fatty fish.
    • Zinc: Oysters, lean meats, legumes, and nuts.
    • Vitamin D: Fatty fish, fortified dairy products, and sunlight exposure.

These types of nutrients can really help contribute to your body’s increased natural production of testosterone. The important thing to keep in mind here is the underlying goal – boost your body’s increased natural production of its own testosterone, as opposed to using methods that involve synthetic testosterone such as TRT (testosterone replacement therapy). If you consume these foods while also using a high quality testosterone booster, you can really make a difference.

Using A High Quality Testosterone Booster

Human clinical research shows that if you get a truly top notch testosterone booster (not Six Star), you can really help your body achieve and maintain peak testosterone levels as a result…and yes, I’m speaking from personal experience. I’ve tried a bunch of testosterone booster supplements, and some of them are super effective, especially when it comes to athletic performance and muscle growth.

My #1 ranked testosterone booster on this site (TestoGen) really enhanced my strength training performance, as well as my sexual performance. I noticed results within days of taking it, both in the bedroom and my weight training performance. I love taking that testosterone booster before the gym as sort of a pre workout supplement and have noticed significant muscle growth after doing so.

I can’t emphasize enough how significantly testosterone booster supplements have impacted my muscle growth. TestoGen helped me gain nearly 15 pounds of lean muscle mass in one month. It really is the best testosterone booster I have ever tried. That doesn’t mean it will be the optimal testosterone booster for everyone, but it definitely was for me.

Strength Training Performance: Volume and Intensity

Focus on both volume and intensity in your strength training performance. Varied rep ranges, including lower rep ranges with heavier weights and higher rep ranges, can contribute to testosterone release. In case you can’t tell yet, I strongly believe (based on human clinical research) that you can really significantly boost testosterone by optimizing your athletic performance.

Optimize Vitamin and Mineral Intake

Ensure you get enough vitamins and minerals essential for peak testosterone production, such as magnesium, vitamin A, and vitamin K. Without sufficient levels of the essential vitamins and minerals, your body simply is not capable of reaching peak testosterone.

Manage Stress

Incorporate stress-reducing activities like meditation, yoga, deep breathing, or hobbies. Chronic stress can elevate cortisol levels, which human clinical research has shown can prevent you from reaching peak testosterone.

Get Sun Exposure

Exposure to sunlight helps the body produce vitamin D, which according to a human clinical study, is linked to testosterone levels. Aim for safe sun exposure or consider vitamin D supplementation if needed. Many testosterone supplements actually use hefty dosages of Vitamin D for that reason.

Intermittent Fasting

Some studies suggest that intermittent fasting may positively affect testosterone levels. Experiment with different fasting protocols to see what works for you, but prioritize overall health and well-being. Intermittent fasting has drastically impacted my strength training and overall helped improve athletic performance for me. Check out this YouTube video I made if you want to see my personal intermittent fasting routine…

Stay Hydrated

Dehydration can negatively impact athletic performance and potentially affect hormone balance. Ensure you stay hydrated, especially during exercise. This may seem like a simple basic tip, but male athletes often overlook how important it is to stay hydrated in order to achieve peak testosterone and optimal athletic performance.

Avoid Overtraining

  • Overtraining can lead to elevated cortisol levels, which can prevent you from being able to reach and maintain peak testosterone like we talked about before. Ensure proper rest and recovery between workouts.

What Is The Normal Range of Testosterone Levels?

A classic example of a large-scale human clinical study examining testosterone levels in males is the “Massachusetts Male Aging Study (MMAS).” This long-term study, initiated in the late 1980s, aimed to investigate the prevalence and natural history of male aging, including aspects related to sexual function and the normal range of hormone levels.

The Massachusetts Male Aging Study (MMAS)

Objective: The primary objective of MMAS was to examine various aspects of male aging, including the prevalence of and normal range of risk factors for erectile dysfunction, as well as the natural progression of age-related changes in sexual function, hormonal levels, and overall health.

Design: The MMAS was a prospective, population-based cohort human clinical study that involved a random sample of men aged 40-70 years in the greater Boston area. It included both longitudinal and cross-sectional components, allowing researchers to collect data at multiple time points.

Key Components:

  1. Hormonal Measurements: This human clinical study included the measurement of serum testosterone levels in participants. Researchers assessed the normal range of total testosterone, free testosterone, and other relevant hormonal markers.
  2. Questionnaires: Participants completed comprehensive questionnaires covering a wide range of topics, including medical history, lifestyle factors, sexual function, and overall well-being in order to determine the normal range of answers.
  3. Clinical Examinations: Physical examinations were conducted to assess health status, body composition, and other relevant factors.

Ethical Considerations: This human clinical study adhered to ethical guidelines, with participants providing informed consent before enrollment. Confidentiality and privacy were maintained throughout the study, and participants were informed of their right to withdraw at any time.

Results: The MMAS generated valuable insights into the aging process in males, including the prevalence of erectile dysfunction and changes in the normal range of testosterone levels with age. The findings contributed to the understanding of age-related hormonal changes and their impact on various aspects of male health.

Clinical Implications: The MMAS results have had significant clinical implications, influencing the understanding of male sexual health and age-related changes in testosterone. This important human clinical study has informed healthcare professionals about the natural progression of testosterone levels with aging and has contributed to discussions on interventions for age-related hormonal imbalances.

Keep in mind that the MMAS is just one example of a crucial human clinical study, and there are other studies, both past and ongoing, that have explored the normal range of testosterone levels in males and more specifically male athletes. Always refer to the latest scientific literature for the most up-to-date information.

Six Star Testosterone Booster ingredients list

Here are the primary Six Star Testosterone Booster ingredients:

Rhodiola Extract

Rhodiola Extract is a natural herb that is most well known for the effect it can have on your cognition. It is commonly found in nootropic supplements due to it’s ability to help improve mental performance. There is not really any evidence that supports it as a testosterone boosting ingredient, so we don’t know why it’s in this formula.

Ginkgo Extract

Ginkgo Extract is an herbal ingredient that is believed to help improve blood circulation and therefore increase blood flow to areas of the body where it is most needed. Based on that logic, it is often used to help improve sexual health since optimal blood flow is a major component of sexual function. However, this formula only contains 3 milligrams per serving, which is nowhere near enough to produce results.

Boron Citrate

Boron Citrate is a mineral that is believed to have a positive effect on testosterone levels in male athletes. Some studies suggest it helps free up more testosterone in the body. It’s not the strongest or most aggressive test boosting nutrient, but it could certainly produce some benefits if combined with other more powerful ingredients.

Six Star Testosterone Booster pros and cons

Here are the benefits and side effects of Six Star Testosterone Booster.

Six Star Testosterone Booster benefits

In our view, there are not a whole lot of Six Star Testosterone Booster health benefits that the user can expect to experience. It just doesn’t seem likely to produce significant results given how weak the formula is, but on the off chance it actually works, it could produce benefits such as elevated energy levels, enhanced focus, and improved blood flow.

There aren’t many clinically proven test boosting nutrients in the formula, and as a result, we don’t believe the typical benefits that come with an increase in testosterone apply in this case.

Six Star Testosterone Booster side effects

We believe it’s highly unlikely for users to experience side effects since you’re really not taking much of a supplement here. In other words, since the formula is so weak, it’s not likely to produce effects whatsoever, whether those effects be good or bad.

Regardless, some of the side effects that have been reported by users of testosterone supplements in general include upset stomach, headaches, and nausea. These side effects are not very common and generally result from taking the Testosterone Booster on an empty stomach.

Six Star Testosterone Booster complaints & praise (Six Star Testosterone Booster reviews from real users)

Let’s take a look at what people are saying on Amazon since Amazon is a trusted source for verified buyer reviews. Amazon only lets customers leave reviews after verifying that the customer has actually purchased the product.

At the time of writing, there are almost 2,000 total Six Star Testosterone Booster reviews on Amazon, so we have a pretty good sample size. The average rating across all those reviews is 4.2, which is surprisingly high.

It’s interesting and suspicious that it is rated so highly with such a simple and weak blend of ingredients. However, many of the 5 star reviews say that it is an affordable product that helps increase their energy levels…if all you’re looking for is more energy, drinking coffee is an even more affordable option.

25% of customers rated it between 1-3 stars. These are most likely the customers who were hoping for an actual boost in testosterone levels. If you’re looking for a cheap way to boost energy levels, it appears this supplement could be an okay option for some people, but if you’re serious about increasing testosterone, I strongly recommend avoiding the Six Star Testosterone Booster.

You really need a much stronger testosterone booster if you want to get serious results. Before falling for the Six Star Testosterone Booster, you should take a look at our list of the top 6 best testosterone booster supplements.

Is Six Star Testosterone Booster worth it? Our Six Star test booster review conclusion

All things considered, there’s no chance I can comfortably recommend the Six Star Testosterone Booster as a Certified Nutrition Coach. I mean, come on…500 milligrams of total nutrients per serving? That’s less than one fourth of the amount of nutrients you should be getting. This is a cheap energy booster at best, but I’d hardly call it a Testosterone Booster.

Six Star Testosterone Booster FAQs

Is Six Star Testosterone Booster safe?

Based on our analysis of the SFP (supplement facts panel), this testosterone booster is highly unlikely to produce any severe side effects or be otherwise unsafe. There are no ingredients in the formula that could potentially be damaging or cause any issues. However, we are not doctors, and you should ask your doctor this question before starting any new supplements.

How long can you take Six Star Testosterone Booster?

You can take it for as long as you want, but you will most likely develop a tolerance to it over time, which may cause it to become less effective. Of course, that’s assuming it was effective to begin with. In general, you can take a testosterone booster supplement for several months. However, you should always consult your doctor with this question…keep in mind, I am NOT a doctor.

Does Six Star Testosterone Booster have estrogen blocker?

No, there are no clinically proven estrogen blocking ingredients in the formula, which is a major problem in our view. The lack of an estrogen blocker component is one of the reasons why we do not recommend this testosterone booster.
