Prime T review by a Certified Nutrition Coach: Is Prime T any good?

Prime T is a pretty well rounded supplement, but there is one ingredient in the formula that I find very concerning, and we don’t recommend this supplement for that reason. The overall potency is high and many of the ingredients are high quality, but the inclusion of the ingredient Diindolylmethane is concerning since it can potentially block testosterone production. Next, let’s get into my personal experience with the product…

My Personal Experience And Results With Prime T

Unsurprisingly, I did not have a good experience with Prime T. I bought a 30 day supply but personally only took it for two weeks because it just was not producing results for me. Generally, when I’m taking a testosterone booster, I get results in two areas: the bedroom and the gym. With Prime T, I did not get any benefits in either of those areas. In other words, it did not help me with strength, stamina, sex drive, or any of the other benefits you would typically expect to get from a T Booster.

If I had to guess why Prime T did not produce and results or benefits for me, I’d say it was probably due to the inclusion of the ingredient Diindolylmehtane since this is a known testosterone inhibitor, as I mentioned before. I can’t prove that this is the reason this supplement didn’t work for me, but either way, I just had a really negative personal experience with it.

Once I stopped taking Prime T, I went back to my go-to test booster: TestoGen. This stuff is insane. It’s extremely potent, and you can really feel the difference almost immediately. I actually can already start to feel then benefits after just one dose. TestoGen makes me an absolute beast both in the gym and the bedroom. But anyways, bottom line…Prime T just did not work for me.

What does Prime T by RSP Nutrition do?

What does Prime T do for you? Prime T is designed to help increase your testosterone levels. The formula contains many natural ingredients that are believed to positively effect testosterone.

However, it contains one ingredient that some studies show can actually adversely effect testosterone, so be careful with this supplement. What it is intended to do, which is increase testosterone, may actually not be what it does.

We don’t believe it’s capable of accomplishing said goal and would strongly recommend having a look at some other T boosters before choosing Prime T.

Prime T ingredients list

Here are the primary ingredients in the Prime T testosterone booster formula:

  • D-Aspartic Acid
  • Fenugreek
  • Maca
  • Diindolylmethane
  • Safed Musli Extract
  • Zinc
  • Boron Citrate
  • Bioperine

D-Aspartic Acid

D-Aspartic Acid can help reduce your experience of some of the symptoms that come with Low T. Taking D-Aspartic acid can help improve lean muscle mass, reduce high cholesterol, and also help you burn more fat. When combined with B vitamins, D-Aspartic Acid has been shown to help increase your body’s ability to produce testosterone.

Fenugreek

Fenugreek is commonly used in the Indian herbal medicine known as Ayurveda. It has been shown to help enhance masculinity and improve your libido. It is very common in natural testosterone boosting blends. It is also most effective when combined with magnesium and zinc.

Maca Root

Maca Root is a superfood that promotes hormone balance, elevated energy, improved mood, and stronger functioning immune system. It is used to help with sexual health. While there is not much proof that is is able to boost testosterone levels, it has been shown to help deal with many of the negative side effects that come with having Low T.

Zinc

Zinc is a mineral that has been used for ages to help reduce symptoms of Low T. Many men swear that Zinc can function as an aphrodisiac, and a lot of guys who supplement with it often report sexual health benefits. This is a key ingredient in any testosterone booster formula, and we love to see it used here.

Diindolylmethane (DIM)

Diindolylmethane, more commonly known as DIM, is an ingredient that many people believed could increase testosterone levels due to a couple of early studies that showed potential.

However, more recent studies have shown that it could potentially act as an “androgen antagonist.” This means it may actually prevent testosterone from doing its job within your body.

Prime T pros and cons

Here are the benefits and side effects of Prime T testosterone booster.

Prime T benefits

There is a pretty solid range of Prime T health benefits that the user can expect to experience. However, this is only assuming that the problematic ingredient (DIM) does not act as an androgen antagonist.

In the event that DIM does not inhibit the effects of Prime T, you could experience benefits such as increased energy levels, improved athletic performance, better stamina, and improved sexual health. By the way, these are all benefits that you can also get from more superior test boosters that do NOT contain DIM.

Prime T side effects

This is where we will discuss the primary reason why we do not recommend Prime T. Most of the ingredients are harmless natural herbs and vitamins, which generally means that you should not have to worry about any severe side effects.

However, since Prime T does contain DIM, there is one side effect that we are very concerned about. We obviously can not guarantee you will experience it, but we just need to do our due diligence and report what we have found.

We found a couple of studies showing that DIM may actually act as what’s called an “androgen antagonist.” Testosterone is an androgen, so if DIM acts as an androgen antagonist, this means that it will prevent testosterone from being effective or increasing. As you can imagine, this would be a very bad side effect as it would defeat the purpose of the supplement.

Prime T complaints & praise (info from real Prime T customer reviews)

While our reviews are primarily based on expert SFP (Supplement Facts Panel) analysis, we also like to factor in customer reviews just to give our readers an idea of what people are saying about the supplement.

We like to use Amazon as a source for reviews since they only let verified buyers of the product leave reviews. On Amazon, we were able to find over 700 Prime T reviews. Prime T achieved an average rating of 4 out of 5 stars, which is pretty decent.

60% of users rated it 5 stars, which is a fairly impressive statistic. On the other hand, about 30% of users rated it 3 stars or less, and many of these customers said that it did not work for them at all. The reason it is not working for some people could be the Diindolylmethane, but that is just speculation at this point in time.

Is Prime T worth it? Our Prime T test booster review conclusion

Prime T has an okay formula, but the inclusion of what we consider a “red flag” ingredient (DIM) turns us off from it. The formula looks pretty good with the exception of that ingredient. In fact, Prime T might have earned a top 10 ranking spot if it weren’t for that ingredient, but DIM is way too big of a concern for us to feel comfortable recommending Prime T.

Although we do NOT recommend Prime T, you can find some super top-notch supplements that we do recommend on our testosterone boosters page. You can also see our #1 ranked T Booster by clicking the link below!

Prime T FAQs

Is Prime T safe?

In our opinion, yes Prime T is safe based on the formula. We don’t see anything that we consider unsafe. Diindolylmethane may render the supplement ineffective, but that doesn’t necessarily make it “unsafe.” Regardless, always consult your doctor before trying a new supplement.

When should I take Prime T?

We typically recommend taking testosterone boosters in the morning since they boost energy levels. If you take it at night, it may give you insomnia. Also, we usually recommend taking it after eating in order to avoid getting an upset stomach.
