Growth Factor 9 Review: Is This Testosterone Booster Worth It? (My Results)

by Joe Costello, CNC | Testosterone Boosters

Growth Factor 9 Review

Growth Factor 9 is an immensely popular muscle growth supplement with potential testosterone and HGH boosting capabilities. There have been a lot of new testosterone and/or HGH boosters released, and many of them approach muscle growth and hormone boosting with super exciting new supplement technology.

Read this Growth Factor 9 review to learn why we do NOT recommend it as one of our top 10 Testosterone Boosters.

Growth Factor 9 review by a Certified Nutrition Coach: Is Growth Factor 9 any good?

Growth Factor 9 is not any good in our opinion. It only has 6 active ingredients, which is less than the industry average. The overall potency is solid at around 2,900 milligrams per serving, but the nutrients come in the form of a proprietary blend, which means we don’t know the individual dosages for the ingredients.

This is a major problem, plus it is overpriced. We don’t recommend Growth Factor 9 due to extreme lack of transparency with the formula and the lack of key ingredients that we consider essential for boosting testosterone.

My Personal Experience And Results With Growth Factor 9

Even though I can take one look at the formula and tell you this testosterone booster is not worth it, I still feel compelled to personally test every supplement I review. I am a Certified Nutrition Coach, and my clients expect me to be thorough. So, I went to my local GNC and purchased a bottle of Growth Factor 9. Here is what I experienced in my two weeks of taking it…

In the first week or so, I noticed some benefits in the gym with regard to my strength and stamina when lifting weights. However, the benefits started to wear off very quickly, which was disappointing. I as expecting a bit more out of such an expensive supplement. Additionally, the other side of testosterone boosters like Growth Factor 9 is that they are supposed to produce benefits related to sexual health or performance in the bedroom, and this product did nothing for me in that regard.

After having a pretty bad experience overall with Growth Factor 9, I went back to my top rated testosterone booster: TestoGen. This stuff is never fails to disappoint. I always get results immediately, and the effects do not wear off. The formula is just designed perfectly, which means I get amazing benefits in both the gym and the bedroom. But that’s beside the point…the bottom line here is I would NOT recommend Growth Factor 9 based on my poor personal experience.

What does Growth Factor 9 do?

What does Growth Factor 9 do for you? Growth Factor 9 is designed to help naturally increase testosterone levels, and the company claims it can help increase HGH (human growth hormone) levels as well.

However, based on our analysis of the formula, we’re not so sure it can actually produce these benefits. It only contains 6 ingredients, and due to their lack of transparency, we have no way of knowing whether or not they are dosed properly.

Growth Factor 9 ingredients list

Here are the primary ingredients in Growth Factor 9:

  • L-Lysine
  • L-Arginine
  • Oxo-proline
  • N-acetyl L-cysteine
  • L-Glutamine
  • Schizonepeta powder

L-Arginine

Arginine is the industry’s most widely known and utilized nitric oxide booster. It’s excellent for improving blood flow and enhancing your performance during your workouts.

It’s never a bad thing to see that a muscle-building supplement includes L Arginine, but in this case, the dosage of the Arginine is hidden within a proprietary blend. Therefore, there’s no way for us to know whether or not they used a large enough dosage.

L-Lysine

Lysine is a crucial amino acid that can encourage muscle growth and improve muscle recovery time, which makes it an excellent ingredient to supplement with before you hit the gym.

With that being said, we have the same problem here as we did with this product’s inclusion of Arginine. The dosage size is hidden by the proprietary blend, so we’re not sure if they included enough Lysine for you to experience true benefits.

L-Glutamine

Glutamine is used by bodybuilders everywhere to help prevent muscle fatigue and expedite the process of muscle growth. It’s an excellent amino acid with a very promising list of potential benefits. Some studies have even shown that glutamine can help your muscles grow while you’re asleep if you take it before bed.

Oxo-proline

This amino acid is the ingredient that is responsible for boosting your HGH. Some studies suggest that Oxo-proline supplementation may be correlated with increased HGH levels. There is not conclusive evidence showing that this is the case, but the studies are encouraging nonetheless.

Growth Factor 9 pros and cons

Here are the benefits and side effects of Growth Factor 9 testosterone booster.

Growth Factor 9 benefits

There is a narrow array of Growth Factor 9 health benefits users can expect to experience since it only contains 6 active ingredients. For perspective, our top 5 ranked testosterone boosters contain between 10-12 active ingredients.

The website claims that if you take the product on an empty stomach, it can cause the pituitary gland to release HGH and allow the HGH to flow more optimally like it did when you were younger.

While that sounds really interesting, this is a claim that a lot of companies make, and more often than not, the product doesn’t live up to the claim.

HGH can be very difficult to get your body produce, but increasing testosterone production within the body is a much less complicated feat, and we’ve found testosterone to be a far more beneficial hormone for muscle growth anyway.

Growth Factor 9 side effects

It’s pretty unlikely for Growth Factor 9 to produce side effects since it only uses natural over-the-counter ingredients. However, if it does in fact boost HGH levels, then there could be side effects. Many researchers say that while increased HGH levels can help with muscle growth, it can also lead to organ growth and other severe side effects. Be very careful with supplements that claim to boost HGH.

Growth Factor 9 complaints & praise (info from real Growth Factor 9 customer reviews)

Part of our vetting process involves examining reviews from consumers who have tested the product. This way, we can combine our label-based analysis of the supplement with the experience-based feedback of the product’s users. Let’s see what people are saying…

There have been about 400 Growth Factor 9 reviews submitted on Amazon, and the products current average rating is 4.2 stars. That’s a pretty solid average, so it looks like people are liking the product. However, roughly 25% of users rated it 3 stars or less, so it clearly does not work for everyone.

The Growth Factor 9 reviews on Amazon are fairly encouraging, but the product has gotten some negative feedback outside of Amazon as well. All reviews considered, there wasn’t a whole lot for us to learn here other than the fact that people’s results with the product are very mixed.

Is Growth Factor 9 worth it? Our Growth Factor 9 test booster review conclusion

At the end of the day, we don’t believe Growth Factor 9 can live up to most of the claims being made on the website. We simply don’t see enough evidence in the formula. The fact that it uses a proprietary blend turns us off of this product, and the fact that the blend is so small at only 2,900 MG doesn’t help.

The bottom line is if you’re interested in building lots of muscle mass and reducing your body fat percentage, we’d recommend sticking to testosterone boosters. Testosterone is MUCH more beneficial than HGH. Click the link below to see our top ranked test booster!
