Plexaderm is perhaps the most popular and exciting company in the entire skincare space at the moment. Their most popular product is their Plexaderm Rapid Reduction Serum, which is designed to reduce wrinkles and remove under-eye bags…but does it actually work?
Well, I’m in my thirties and likely wouldn’t see a whole lot of results from this product, so unfortunately this wasn’t a product that I could personally test for my readers like I normally do.
However, I did read a ton of verified user reviews and gather as much data as possible with regard to exactly how effective Plexaderm really is…more on that in a later section.
According to the Plexaderm website, there are plenty of benefits the user can experience with their line of advanced skincare products. Here’s a look at some of the most promising reported Plexaderm benefits…
- Reduces wrinkles
- Eliminates under-eye bags
- Helps soften skin
- Creates a smoother complexion
- Provides nourishment
- Hydrates skin
- Moisturizes and prevents dryness
If you regularly visit our site, you know that we are all about the facts here. The most exciting part of any review to us is the ingredients because this is where you push all of the claims aside and evaluate whether or not the formula has the ability to live up to those claims.
To clarify once again, for the purpose of this review, we are mainly talking about the most popular Plexaderm product, which is their Plexaderm Rapid Reduction Serum. Let’s have a look at the ingredients…
Propylene Glycol is classified as a humectant, which technically means that it’s primary purpose is to hydrate. Dry, aging skin can end up with wrinkles and other similar issues largely due to dehydration of the skin over time, so a powerful humectant like this one can be tremendously beneficial.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 is known for its water-binding properties, and more importantly in this case, its ability to restore skin. This ingredient is designed with long term use in mind, as some studies have shown its ability to penetrate deeper into the skin over time, thereby producing more significant benefits.
Hydrolyzed Rice Protein is used to help strengthen the skins moisture barrier. This benefit is important because it helps the skin stay hydrated, prevents dryness and irritation, and also helps protect from environmental aggressors over time…truly a very powerful ingredient.
Soluble Collagen is a very important ingredient due to its ability to help the skin become firmer and stay firm. As you age, your collagen naturally degrades, and your skin starts to become wrinkly and baggy. Supplementing with soluble collagen helps resolve this issue.
Other Plexaderm ingredients that are not necessarily directly related to the benefits it can produce include sodium silicate, magnesium aluminum silicate, cellulose gum, xanthan gum, titatinum dioxide, and phenoxyethanol ethylhexylglycerin…that’s a mouthful isn’t it? Don’t worry…these are just ingredients that primarily serve to help improve the texture and appearance of the product.
Plexaderm Reviews From Real Users
Here we are! This is the part of the review I had alluded to in the first section when I mentioned we were going to talk more about whether or not this stuff really works. Like I said before, I have not taken this stuff myself, but the good news is that Plexaderm has what’s called “Verified Customer Reviews.”
The difference between standard testimonials and verified reviews is that verified reviews can not be simply made up, whereas anybody can write a testimonial. Verified reviews can ONLY come from people who have actually bought and used the product…
Amazon, for example, only allows for verified customers to provide reviews. Amazon will not let you submit a review for any product unless they can verify the fact that you have actually bought the product…this makes the reviews much more trustworthy.
The Plexaderm reviews on the website average a rating of 4.69 stars out of 5 across over 1,150 total reviews, which is very impressive. That means well over 1,000 verified, REAL users felt this stuff worked well enough to give it a rating of either 4 or 5 stars.
There are a couple of negative reviews, which is normal because no product is going to work for everyone…but generally, the Plexaderm reviews are very impressive and encouraging. Ultimately, I really like what I see here, mainly due to the fact that the reviews are from verified users.
- Very impressive nutrition label
- Inclusion of Collagen and Hydrolyzed Rice Protein
- Website displays verified customer reviews
- Wide range of benefits
- Clinical studies exist that suggest the ingredients can be effective
- Uses a proprietary formula, but this is pretty normal when it comes to skincare
- Relatively expensive compared to other similar products
- Only available online, not in stores
Taking everything we covered into account, I do believe Plexaderm can be an effective supplement. As I mentioned earlier, the most important consideration is the ingredients and the formula as a whole, and I was very impressed in that regard.
My next most important consideration is typically my personal experience because as you guys know if you know me, I’m more than willing to test a supplement before reviewing it. Since I didn’t see myself getting much out of this supplement personally, I chose not to test this one, but I did look to the next best thing…verified customer reviews.
The Plexaderm reviews submitted by over a thousand verified customers were very encouraging, and most people gave Plexaderm a great rating, so I was yet again pretty impressed. All in all, I’d certainly recommend giving Plexaderm a try if it seems to be a good fit for you.
