Outlift Review: Is This Pre Workout Any Good? My Results!

by Joe Costello, CNC | Pre Workout

Outlift pre workout supplementOutlift is a pre workout supplement that is designed by Nutrex Research to improve the quality of your workouts and ultimately give you better results from your efforts. In this Outlift pre workout review, we’ll explain why we do not recommend it

If you’re serious about fitness, pre workout is one of the most beneficial supplements you can use, but it’s also very important to consider quality when it comes to pre workout specifically. Read on to find out why it’s NOT listed as one of our top 10 Best Pre Workout supplements.

Outlift Pre Workout Review 2022: Is Nutrex Outlift any good?

Overall, Outlift is a pretty decent pre workout supplement. The overall potency is high and it includes a few high quality ingredients, but at the same time, it’s missing a few crucial ingredients such as Betaine Anhydrous.

This is a solid formula, but we would never recommend Outlift simply because it pales in comparison to our top pre workout recommendations. The bottom line is it’s good, but not good enough.

Are there any Outlift Pre Workout coupon codes or promo discount vouchers?

No, Nutrex Research is not currently offering any discount codes for Outlift. It’s also primarily sold through Amazon, which makes it even harder to find coupon codes. With that said, even if we had a discount code for you, we still wouldn’t recommend Outlift.

What does Outlift Pre Workout do?

What does Outlift Pre Workout do for you? The combination of nitric oxide boosters, creatine, and branched chain amino acids should allow you to improve your strength, endurance, and overall performance in the gym.

Outlift works by using a blend of ingredients in their pre workout supplement that can help increase your energy, boost your focus, and give you the motivation you need to hit the gym on a daily basis.

It also includes BCAAs to give your muscles additional energy and recovery support. Way too many pre workout supplements don’t include BCAAs, which is a major violation. BCAAs are vital for improving your endurance and ensuring your muscles are able to properly recover after a grueling workout.

Outlift Ingredients list

Here are the primary ingredients in Outlift pre workout:

  • Citrulline Malate
  • Carnosyn Beta Alanine
  • Creapure Creatine Monohydrate
  • L-Leucine
  • L-Valine
  • L-Isoleucine
  • Taurine
  • Caffeine
  • L-Tyrosine
  • Bioperine

Citrulline Malate

L-Citrulline is an amino acid responsible for helping you increase the rate at which your muscles receive nutrients, oxygen, amino acids. It does this by becoming L-Arginine in the kidneys, which is the precursor to the vasodilator, nitric oxide. Nitric oxide helps increase blood flow and circulation by widening blood vessels and arteries.

Creatine Monohydrate

Creatine is responsible for cellular hydration and increasing your energy. This ingredient can help enhance your muscle performance, muscle growth, strength and power.

Branched Chained Amino Acids (BCAAs)

L-Leucine, L-Isoleucine, and L-Valine are branched chained amino acids that can help boost your energy levels and also reduce your recovery time. They are very quickly absorbed and prove to be an important part of a pre workout supplement.

Taurine

This amino acid can help boost your energy and reduce your levels of oxidative stress. It is optimal for heart health and stimulating muscle activity.

Caffeine Anhydrous

Caffeine is a stimulant that can help boost your energy levels, increase your concentration, and make sure you are motivated enough to perform at your best in the gym.

Bioperine

Bioperine is a black pepper fruit extract that can help your body absorb the other ingredients in this blend. It can help inhibit enzymes in your body from attacking healthy components of a pre workout formula.

Outlift Pre Workout pros and cons

Here are the benefits and side effects of Lit Pre Workout.

Outlift Benefits

The benefits of supplementing with Outlift may include…

  • Elevated energy levels
  • Increased endurance
  • Better pumps
  • Improved strength and power

Outlift uses clinically dosed ingredients for an all in one pre workout powerhouse. The formula is based on studies that have determined what the proper dosages are of each ingredient to ensure the blend is able to take full effect. Most companies don’t dose ingredients highly enough, which means the nutrients often end up not actually working.

This is not the case with Outlift, which includes huge dosages of super important ingredients such as Cutrulline and Beta Alanine, making it an excellent pump inducer and endurance enhancer. It also contains a couple grams of creatine in every serving, which can help boost your strength and increase your muscle gains.

The formula is definitely one of the better ones we have come across. In fact, it just barely failed to rank on our top 10 list. It was being considered for a position on the list, but the fact that it’s missing Betaine Anhydrous and Choline Bitartrate is ultimately what lead us to the decision to leave it off of the list.

Outlift Side Effects

Outlift uses all natural ingredients, and there is nothing in the formula that would lead us to believe it could cause severe side effects.

With that said, it does contain 350 milligrams of caffeine anhydrous per serving, which is 100 milligrams above the industry average. If you are sensitive to caffeine, Outlift might be a bad choice for you.

This large of a dosage of caffeine can produce side effects such as restlessness, jitters, headaches, and anxiety.

Outlift Pre Workout complaints & praise (info from real Outlift customer reviews)

There are about 200 Outlift Pre Workout reviews on Amazon, which is a pretty solid sample size for us to draw information from. It received an average rating of 4.7 out of 5, which is pretty impressive.

78% of the Outlift customer reviews contain 5 star ratings, and there are almost no negative reviews. It seems people are pretty happy with this stuff, which is always good to see.

However, as I always say, don’t get too caught up in customer feedback. The supplement facts are more important, and Outlift is factually not as good of a supplement as the top shelf options.

My Personal Outlift Review, Results, And Experience

As a Certified Nutrition Coach, my clients ask me all the time: what’s the best pre workout powder? That question can be tough to answer because there are so many of them, and there are only so many conclusion I can draw based on the supplement facts panel alone. Therefore, I often personally test the pre workout supplements so that I can share my experience with my clients and readers. I tried Outlift pre workout for 30 days, and here’s what happened…

My personal results with Outlift in terms of actually improving my lifting abilities were pretty solid. The high dosage of citrulline malate really helped to dilate my blood vessels, and I was able to improve my strength and endurance as a result. I actually got more reps in on the bench press when I took this stuff, which felt great. HOWEVER, here’s what did not feel so great…

In my personal opinion, they WAY overdid it with the caffeine. Do you ever sometimes feel wired and on edge after having a cup of coffee that was too strong? Imagine that feeling times 10…that was my experience. The reason this was such a negative side effect for me is because it drove my anxiety levels through the roof to the point where I needed to stop my lift and come home just to relax.

So yes, Outlift pre workout is solid in terms of enhancing your exercise performance, but I’m not sure its worth the side effects. If you have anxiety, I would recommend avoiding Outlift. There are plenty of other pre workout powders out there that contain the same GOOD ingredients that Outlift has but without the BAD ones that leave you feeling over stimulated.

Bottom Line: I had a very mixed experience with Outlift but felt that it was overall certainly not one of my favorite pre workout powders. I would NOT recommend this to my clients based on the side effects I experienced.

Is Outlift worth it? Our Conclusion

Outlift is definitely one of the better pre workout supplements we have had the pleasure of evaluating. It contains clinically proven dosages of some of the most important ingredients, but at the end of the day, we decided not to rank it amongst the top 10 because it’s missing some nutrients that we consider crucial.

To view some supplements that out-ranked this one, check out our list of the Top 10 Best Pre Workout Supplements of the year. Either of the top two choices on that list are for sure worth it, which is based on both SFP analysis and personal experience.
