Elevate Coffee Review
Elevate Coffee is a essentially coffee grounds with added nootropic ingredients. The concept is very cool…coffee already improves cognition and concentration, but combine it with nootropic ingredients such as Beta Phenylethylamine and L-Theanine, and you can dramatically enhance the benefits…
However, this would only be the case if the ingredients were properly standardized and dosed. So yes, conceptually Elevate Coffee sounds like a great idea, but in this review, we’re going to thoroughly evaluate the formula and determine whether or not this is truly an elite supplement or just a fad.
My bottom line with Elevate Coffee is that it’s great coffee…but that’s it. The nootropic blend is pretty weak, and I would NOT recommend this supplement be used in place of a genuinely elite nootropic. If you’re looking for coffee, great…but if you’re looking for a highly effective nootropic, I’d recommend looking elsewhere.
Elevate Coffee Benefits
It’s my belief that Elevate Coffee can not function as an effective nootropic supplement, but you can certainly still experience some benefits from using it. Here is a list of the most commonly reported Elevate Coffee benefits…
- Enhances mood
- Assists with mental clarity
- Improves memory
- Boosts energy levels
Elevate Coffee Ingredients
This is where we get deep into the formula, and I’ll explain why this isn’t by any means an elite nootropic supplement. While “formula analysis” may not be very sexy, it’s the most important part of the review. Let’s go ahead and break down the ingredients…
The entire formula is one giant 2,600 MG proprietary blend. If you’ve read my reviews before, you know I hate proprietary blends…the reason is that the use of a proprietary blend prevents the consumer from being able to see the specific dosage amounts for each ingredient. Therefore, we don’t know how much of each nutrient each serving contains…
For that reason, proprietary blends cause a major issue when it comes to supplement analysis. I always recommend avoiding proprietary blends because you don’t know exactly what you’re putting into your body when you use one. That being said, we can at least break down the ingredients and what purposes they’re intended to serve…
Sunflower Lecithin can be an effective nootropic ingredient due to its high concentration of Phosphatidyl Choline, which plays a key role in synaptic function and signaling in the brain. I love the addition of this ingredient here, but again, we have no idea how much of it is in there, which is a problem.
Beta Phenylethylamine HCL is in my opinion one of the best nootropic ingredients out there. However, it’s very important that it be properly dosed, which we can’t know is the case here. With that said, this ingredient is awesome because it is believed to trigger increased release of norepinephrine and dopamine in the brain, which would then theoretically lead to better concentration and improved mood.
Alpha GPC is a very widely used ingredient amongst nootropic supplements due to the fact that researchers believe it can increase acetylcholine production in the brain. Acetylcholine is a neurotransmitter that plays a key role in learning and memorization processes, so if you can increase your levels of it, you theoretically should be able to improve brain function.
Elevate Coffee Reviews From Real Users
My favorite place to find user reviews is Amazon due to the fact that Amazon only allows verified buyers of the product to submit reviews, so you can be sure the reviews are trustworthy. I found 328 Elevate Coffee reviews on Amazon. Let’s see what people are saying…
Across 328 reviews, Elevate Coffee received an average rating of 3.9 out of 5 stars. That’s relatively average…ideally, I’d like to see the average be above 4 stars, but this is pretty close.
Additionally, 57% of the users who submitted Elevate Coffee reviews rated it 5 stars, so there appears to be a good amount of people enjoying the product. This data is pretty encouraging, and I would consider trying the coffee based on it…however, I’d never consider using Elevate Coffee as a nootropic. It’s just not strong enough.
- Contains great ingredients like Alpha GPC and Beta Phenylethylamine HCL
- Has received a good amount of positive user reviews
- Earned an average rating of nearly 4 stars on Amazon
- Uses a proprietary blend
- Nootropic ingredient dosages not disclosed
- Doesn’t compare to elite nootropic supplements
Elevate Coffee Conclusion
At the end of the day, Elevate Coffee might be excellent coffee, but it’s just not a top notch nootropic supplement. I wish they didn’t use a proprietary blend so that I could more accurately evaluate the formula as a whole, but either way it’s clear that it’s missing the components of a truly elite nootropic.
Using this supplement in place of drinking coffee wouldn’t be a bad idea, but I would certainly not recommend using it in place of a nootropic supplement.
