I purchased the Field of Greens superfoods powder so that I could test it myself and more properly evaluate the supplement facts panel. What I found was upsetting, The total amount of green superfoods, fruits, and vegetables in every serving only comes out to 10,000 milligrams. That may seem like a lot if you don’t know greens powders as well as I do, but I know better…
Let’s compare it to my top recommended best greens powder, the Total Living Drink. This is the greens supplement I personally take myself by the way. The Total Living Drink contains 15,000 milligrams worth of superfoods per serving, which makes it literally 50% more potent than Field of Greens. See the problem? The greens powder supplement that I take contains 5,000 more superfoods per serving…that’s s huge difference. Plus, it’s only $10 more expensive, so it provides way more value.
My Personal Field of Greens Experience: Is It Worth It?
As a NASM Certified Nutrition Coach, I feel obligated to go beyond simple supplement fact analysis. In my opinion, the supplement facts are the most important part of any review because the facts can’t lie. On the other hand, there is no substitute for personal experience, so I figured I would go ahead and personally test Field of Greens for myself. Here’s what happened…
I bought a 30 day supply of Field of Greens, which costed me $70 plus shipping. The first thing I’ll say is that for what you are getting, the price is far too high in my opinion. The Supplement Facts Panel (SFP) is not very transparent, so i’t every hard to know if it’s genuinely worth $70. Plus, buyer beware: they tried as hard as they could to force me into a monthly subscription…I only noticed at checkout that they said they would be charging me monthly and had to spend an extra five minutes figuring out how to opt out of the subscription to just get one single jar.
The second thing I noticed was that the Field of Greens taste was awful. I mixed it in with a glass of water and could not stomach it, so I switched to orange juice. The orange juice definitely helped to mask the taste, so I kept using OJ for the rest of my experience using the supplement. The next thing I look for when I’m testing a supplement is how it makes me feel. Are there any noticeable benefits? What about side effects? The whole point after all is to improve my health, so I was hoping to notice some benefits.
Unfortunately, the first thing I felt was an upset stomach. I had some digestive problems the first few days of using it and noticed some gastrointestinal side effects as well. With that said, after my body got used to the supplement, these side effects subsided. However, the bigger problem was that I finished the entire 30 day supply of the greens and did not notice any health benefits at all. I felt like I had been ripped off and was overall very upset with my experience as a whole.
Bottom Line: As a Nutrition Coach, I would never recommend this product to anyone based on my negative personal experience with the product combined with my analysis of the nutrition facts. Nutritionally speaking, it’s just not that impressive. Additionally, it gave my stomach a hard time and ultimately simply didn’t produce benefits for me.

Typically, I like to examine customer reviews that were submitted by verified buyers of the product. That’s the best way to make sure the reviews are trustworthy. For example, Amazon only lets you submit a product review if they can verify that you have actually purchased the product, which is why I usually check Amazon to see what people are saying.
However, Field of Greens is not sold on Amazon. It is only sold on the Brickhouse Nutrition website, and that’s also where all the user reviews are…this is usually a red flag to me because there is no way to verify if the customers are real or not. With that being said, I looked through the feedback on the Brickhouse Nutrition website anyways, and I also checked some other third party review sites as well as Reddit, YouTube, and TikTok just to get some more user feedback.
Flavor and Mixability: Field of Greens users report that it mixes well with water or other beverages. Some users find the greens taste pleasant, while others may prefer to mix it with a flavored drink for enhanced palatability. I personally originally tried it with water and found that the taste and texture were both very bad, so I then switched to orange juice, and that helped a lot. Brickhouse Nutrition recommends mixing it with water on the label, but I would personally recommend mixing it with juice to mask the greens taste.

As a Nutrition Coach, I have to say I think it is highly unlikely that Field of Greens can actually lower your cholesterol. I have analyzed the nutrition facts in depth, and it’s just not potent enough to get the job done in my opinion. It’s missing some of the most key superfoods that have been shown to lower cholesterol, and the superfoods that it does contain appear to be under dosed in my opinion.
What do you mix Field of Greens with?
As per the directions, Field of Greens is meant to be mixed in with a glass of water. However, due to the fact that it tastes really bad, I would strongly recommend mixing it in with your favorite juice or a smoothie in order to cover up the taste of the greens. You can really mix it in with any liquid you prefer. I personally went with orange juice, which certainly helped improve the taste.
How often should I take Field of Greens?
As per the instructions on the label, Field of Greens is meant to be taken every single day. If you want my honest opinion however, I don’t think you should take Field of Greens at all. It’s just not worth the money due to the lack of potency, and in my case, the lack of results as well. However, no matter what greens powder you choose, they are generally meant to be taken every day in the morning, mixed in with juice or water.
