Garcinia is an excellent ingredient, but if you have read our reviews before, you know we like to see comprehensive formulas with long ingredient lists. While we don’t like the idea of sticking to only one ingredient, if that’s the method you want to choose, then that ingredient might as well be Garcinia. Many of the top fat burners include Garcinia to some extent.
Garcinia can be effective because of this powerful stuff it contains known as Hydroxyctric Acid (HCA). HCA is believed to be able to block fat, help suppress appetite, and reduce cravings. It also can inhibit citrate lyase, which is the enzyme that converts carbohydrates into fat. Therein lies the true magic of Garcinia.
All that being said, we still don’t think your best bet is to take this stuff on its own, which is basically what you would be doing with Garcinia Burn. We generally tell people to stay away from single-ingredient supplements, and we are not making an exception for Garcinia Burn. While Garcinia Cambogia is an excellent ingredient, we don’t see the sense in taking it by itself instead of in combination with several other excellent ingredients.
