Hyper Shred Review

Hyper Shred Review | Quality Women’s Fat Burners &  Supplements

Hyper Shred ReviewHyper Shred is a super popular fat burner for women created by the company BSN. Frankly, we wouldn’t recommend this product to anybody based on the surprisingly low potency level, but we felt it would be worth reviewing since it has been so popular as of late. However, go ahead and throttle any excitement you may have over Hyper Shred as it truly underperforms. There is a lot of competition in the women’s fat burner market so you have options.

The Benefits of Hyper Shred

These are the following benefits of Hyper Shred:

  • Boost energy levels naturally
  • Increases metabolic rate
  • Helps you burn calories
  • Improves athletic performance

What Is Hyper Shred?

Hyper Shred is classified as a natural fat burner based on the fact that it doesn’t require a prescription and contains no chemicals whatsoever. All of the ingredients are natural and herbal, which is generally a good thing, but if you want serious results, the dosages of such ingredients should be much larger than they are in this formula.

That being said, natural fat burners are generally superior to prescription drugs when it comes to weight loss in our opinion. While you may be able to get dramatic results from prescription chemicals, you can experience just as good of an outcome using a natural fat burner, and you don’t have to deal with any of the side effects.

Some natural fat burners are better for women, while others are better for men. The female body is obviously wired much differently than the male body, which is why fat burners for women specifically needed to be created.

How Does Hyper Shred Work?

Since it consists of entirely natural ingredients, it can be hard to understand how it works, but it’s actually rather simple. There are 10-20 herbal extracts that have been clinically studied and proven to stimulate weight loss, and natural fat burners tend to contain various combinations of these ingredients.

However, it can be difficult to create an effective combination. You have to ensure you choose ingredients that work synergistically, and you also have to be sure to use proper dosages. Most companies fail at this task, which is why it can be hard to find a good fat burner. The next section will explain why we don’t recommend Hyper Shred…

Hyper Shred Ingredients

While some of the ingredients are effective, it’s important for us to first discuss our primary issue with this product. The main reason we don’t like it is because of the proprietary blend.

For those of you who don’t know, a proprietary blend is something a company uses when they want to hide the specific dosage amounts of individual ingredients. Now, they claim that they do this to “protect the formula,” but more often than not, the real reason is because the dosages being used are too small.

Regardless of what the reason is, when a proprietary blend is used, we’re unable to properly evaluate the supplement…BUT, there is one major piece of information we can still derive from this particular proprietary blend.

The overall potency of the blend is only 460 MG, which is about 1/4th the potency level of a standard fat burner. This is the main reason why we don’t recommend Hyper Shred…it simply lacks potency.

Caffeine Anhydrous: This is the most powerful stimulant in sports nutrition, which is typically a good thing, but in this case, we see it as a potential issue. Since caffeine anhydrous is so powerful, it makes many women feel over-stimulated and uncomfortable.

Due to the side effects it can cause, fat burners for women tend to use a different source of caffeine, such as Guarana. Guarana is an excellent energy booster as well, but it’s much milder and less powerful, so you don’t feel it as intensely.

Bacopa: Bacopa is a nootropic ingredient, which means it’s focused on improving brain function and focus levels. An ingredient like Bacopa can be very useful for your athletic performance because it will help you stay focused in the gym, but we can’t know if it’s dosed highly enough in this particular product.

Huperzine A: This is another great brain-boosting ingredient that can help improve focus and concentration levels. One thing we do like about Hyper Shred is the fact that it includes a pretty solid nootropic component, but again, without knowing the dosages, we cant really evaluate this component effectively.

Hyper Shred Reviews From Users

Our review is based on expert analysis of the label, but sometimes it can help to take a look at the user reviews as well. We like to factor personal experience into our reviews, which is why we checked the Vitamin Shoppe website to see if any consumer reviews had been submitted.

We only found a few Hyper Shred reviews on the website, but it’s worth noting that the average rating for the product was 2.7 stars, which is very bad. It seems people are not having very positive experiences with this product, which frankly does not surprise us based on the nutrition label.

The Pros of Hyper Shred

  • Contains nootropics (brain boosters)
  • Relatively inexpensive

The Cons of Hyper Shred

  • Does not contain many proven fat burners
  • Uses a proprietary blend
  • Overall potency is low
  • Missing several key nutrients
  • Received negative user feedback

Our Conclusion On Hyper Shred

At the end of the day, we simply can’t confidently recommend this supplement to anybody based on how weak the formula is. The overall potency is far too low, the presence of a proprietary blend is discouraging, and the negative user reviews don’t help either. The bottom line is, if you want serious results, you should steer clear of Hyper Shred and instead view our list of the Top 10 Best Fat Burners For Women.
