Project 1 Review

Project 1 is a pre-workout supplement created by a company called 1st Phorm, who is becoming very popular. In our opinion, Project 1 is definitely not their most impressive accomplishment. We see it as just another one of the average pre-workouts on the market, and it’s far from our top choice. Read this Project 1 review to learn why it did not manage to rank on this list of the top 5 Best Pre Workout Products.

Benefits of Project 1 Pre Workout

Here are the key benefits of supplementing with Project 1:

  • More energy during your workout
  • Enhanced focus
  • More motivation

What Is Project 1 Pre Workout?

Project 1 is a pre-workout supplement that does an excellent job of energizing you and keeping you motivated through its use of stimulants. Finding the motivation and the energy to get to the gym on a daily basis can be difficult, but it’s absolutely necessary if you want to see results.

There are many different pre-workout supplements available on the market today, and all of them work pretty similarly. Project 1 is a high-quality pre-workout supplement, but it’s pretty pricey based on the fact that the jar only contains 20 servings, whereas normally you pay for a 30 serving jar.

Project 1 comes in the following flavors: Grape Popsicle, Lemon Drop.

How Does Project 1 Work?

Project 1 works by utilizing a blend of ingredients that aim to help increase your energy and boost your focus in the weight room. Being able to effectively target and break down the individual muscles you are working on that day requires a level of concentration that only pre-workout. supplements can provide.

Additionally, a solid pre-workout supplement like Project 1 is going to ensure proper muscle recovery and growth. Its use of nitric oxide boosters allows blood to reach the muscles more efficiently, thereby providing them with the nutrients they need to grow.

Project 1 also contains a large amount of BCAAs, and BCAAs are crucial to a healthy muscle recovery process. Not only that but they actually also increase your muscular endurance when taken before your workout.

Last but not least, we love the fact that it uses pure creatine monohydrate, which can increase your strength and power during your workouts. Ultimately, creatine can help you lift more weight and get more reps, which means it’s one of the best supplements you can use if you’re interested in making muscular gains.

Project 1 Ingredients

The following ingredients can all be found in Project 1: L-Citrulline, Creatine Monohydrate, Instant BCAA, Betaine Anhydrous, Beta-Alanine, Agmatine Sulfate, Caffeine anhydrous, Theacrine.

L-Citrulline: L-Citrulline is an amino acid that becomes L-Arginine after digestion. This allows it to be a precursor to the vasodilator nitric oxide. Nitric oxide can help improve circulation to let your muscles quickly get the amino acids and nutrients they need for a successful workout.

Instant BCAA: Branched chained amino acids are short so your body can digest and deliver them to your muscles very quickly. They can help provide you with extra energy and also reduce your recovery time. The three branched chained amino acids are L-Leucine, L-Valine, and L-Isoleucine.

Betaine Anhydrous: This ingredient is useful for improving overall athletic performance. It is derived from choline and can also boost your power output and strength. It’s an absolutely vital component of any pre-workout supplement.

Beta-Alanine: Beta-Alanine can help you endure the pain of your workout by acting as a buffer for lactic acid buildup. By reducing the build-up of lactic acid, you allow your muscles to remain effective for a longer period of time.

Creatine Monohydrate: Creatine monohydrate is easily the purest and most effective form of creatine. Many pre-workout powders use a “creatine complex,” which means they combine several different forms of creatine. This is actually something you want to avoid, as its much better to utilize a single source of creatine in order to produce strength gains.

Caffeine Anhydrous: Caffeine is a popular stimulant that can help you increase your focus. It is typically the main stimulant in any pre-workout powder since it is undoubtedly the most effective. Caffeine anhydrous is actually also a fat burner, which means it can help you achieve a more shredded physique when supplemented regularly.

Stacking Pre-Workout With Protein Powder

If you are truly looking to see quick results from your workout, it is important to make sure your muscles heal properly after you’ve broken them down in the gym. While pre-workout supplements help you push your body past its limits, protein powders can help your muscles recover and grow. This combination means your muscles are function efficiently both inside AND outside of the gym.

The Pros

  • Utilizes pure creatine monohydrate
  • Includes BCAA’s
  • Provides sufficient dosages

The Cons

  • Overpriced
  • Only contains 20 servings per jar
  • Does not utilize Choline Bitartrate
  • Formula doesn’t include Taurine

Project 1 Conclusion

Project 1 is certainly one of the best pre-workouts we have reviewed thus far, but it is missing a couple of ingredients that we believe are vital (namely, Choline Bitartrate and Taurine). We have reviewed a couple of products that are formulated similarly but are not missing any key ingredients, which is why they were ranked more highly than this one.
