Alpha Fuel is one of many natural testosterone supplements that has been unfortunately overhyped and overrated. Alpha Fuel is kind of the NFL version of Tim Tebow, lots of hype but also lots of super wobbly passes to nowhere (sorry to offend you Tebow lovers!).
Read this Alpha Fuel review to learn why it’s NOT ranked as one of our Top T Boosters. There are hundreds of great test boosters to choose from, and we’re not saying this product is terrible, but it’s certainly not at the top end of the list.
Low testosterone is a plague to men over 40 and even sometimes men over 30. Often times, men compromised by low-T end up using gels and injections to hopefully remedy the situation. We are all for solutions around these parts, we aren’t crazy hippies.
The reason most men end up checking out our list is because they fell ill to the side effects of pharma’s synthetic testosterone replacement. Some men do well with pharma versions and we hope you are one of them! But if not, just know, these natural herbal combinations seriously do work for lots of guys and they don’t require a prescription. Talk to your doctor, learn as much as you can, and hopefully you find a really great solution!
Alpha Fuel review by a Certified Nutrition Coach: Is Alpha Fuel any good?
Alpha Fuel is a super below average testosterone support supplement. Each serving only provides a total of about 700 milligrams worth of nutrients, which is very weak. Plus, the proprietary blend hides the dosage sizes.
When companies use a proprietary blend, it means you can only see the size of the blend…you can’t see the individual dosages of each ingredient, which is a problem.
Exactly how weak is an overall potency of 700 MG? Well, our top 3 ranked testosterone support supplements provide well over 2,000 MG per serving. Need I say more?
What does Alpha Fuel do?
What does Alpha Fuel do for you? The point of the formula is to increase testosterone levels naturally, which can then lead to significant benefits both in the gym and the bedroom.
However, in order for these benefits to occur, you need the proper ingredients, dosages, and overall potency. Alpha Fuel checks none of those boxes. Therefore, our answer to the question “what does it do?” is: probably nothing.
The Benefits of Alpha Fuel
Here’s a list of the three most significant benefits claimed by the Alpha Fuel website…
- Increases sex drive
- Boosts natural energy levels
- Helps build muscle and burn fat
How Does Alpha Fuel Work?
Alpha Fuel is what’s called a natural testosterone booster, which means it works by stimulating the body to produce more of its own testosterone in a natural manner. The only other option men have when they want to boost their T levels is to engage in testosterone replacement therapy, which is something we heavily recommend you avoid.
In testosterone replacement therapy, you have to deal with doctors, needles, and prescriptions. Perhaps the worst part is how much it costs. Natural testosterone supplements are an excellent alternative. They are much safer, less expensive, and actually more effective.
They work through the use of a blend of natural herbs, amino acids, and vitamins that have been proven to increase the amount of free testosterone on your body. The key to increasing your testosterone is getting your body to produce it on its own instead of forcing testosterone into your system with outside sources like needles or testosterone gels.
When your body is able to produce testosterone on its own, it is much more inclined to actually utilize that testosterone since it recognizes it as its own. Therefore, increasing your testosterone levels naturally is a much better option than employing any synthetic method of boosting your levels.
With all that being said, you do need to make sure you pick the right testosterone supplement. There are literally thousands, and it can be tough to weed out the duds. We don’t recommend Alpha Fuel and would encourage you to explore our Testosterone Boosters page.
Alpha Fuel Ingredients list
Here are the Alpha Fuel primary ingredients:
- Longjack Extract
- Nettle Root Extract
- Zinc
Longjack Extract
Longjack is a proven testosterone booster that typically produces a lot of benefits, but you need to be supplementing with the proper dosage if you want to feel the full effects. The problem with the use of this ingredient in Alpha Fuel is the fact that it’s part of a proprietary blend. Therefore, we don’t know whether or not the dosage is high enough.
Nettle Root Extract
Nettle Root is another excellent T boosting ingredient, and we typically highly recommend using this ingredient. However, our issue with this ingredient in the contest of this formula comes down to the dosage. It’s part of a proprietary blend, so the dosage has not been disclosed. Additionally, since the blend is so small, it’s likely that the dosage is too small.
Zinc
Zinc is the oldest test booster in the game. Men have been supplementing with this stuff for centuries to help boost T levels and increase sex drive. However, as is true with every ingredient, you need to be using the proper dosage. Zinc is actually not a part of the proprietary blend, so we can see the dosage for this ingredient…but, it’s too small. They only included 15 milligrams, which is simply not a high enough dosage. Typically you want at least 25 milligrams for the zinc benefits to take full effect. (source)
The rest of the formula is a part of the proprietary blend, which means we simply can’t know how effective the ingredients are. No ingredient works without being dosed properly, and since we can’t see the dosages, we don‘t know if the nutrients are properly dosed. With that being said, here’s a big sign this formula doesn’t work…
The total potency of the proprietary blend is only a measly 655 milligrams per serving. This is a very small overall potency comparatively speaking. Typically, you will see at least 2,000 milligrams per serving with the top-notch supplements. There is a total of 8 ingredients in the blend, so even if each ingredient is dosed evenly within the blend, that would mean each ingredient is dosed at about 80 milligrams per serving (655 divided by 8). That’s way too small of a dosage!
Alpha Fuel Reviews From Users
When we review a product, we like to take into account the reviews of people who have tried the product to get some feedback from people who experienced the effects themselves. We also examine reviews posted by other review sites to look for things we may have missed, and the findings for this particular supplement are very discouraging.
Most of the Alpha Fuel reviews out there are negative, which is a bad sign. Some people have said that it didn’t work at all for them when they took it, and other review sites have stated discouraging findings as well.
The Pros
- Includes proven testosterone boosters
- The ingredient list is pretty impressive
The Cons
- Uses a proprietary blend
- The overall potency is low
- The dosages are too low
- Its missing a few major ingredients
- Negative reviews
Is Alpha Fuel worth it? Our conclusion
Despite the fact that it does contain some solid ingredients, we absolutely do not recommend Alpha Fuel based on the fact that it uses a proprietary blend, and the dosages are likely not significant enough since the total potency is so low.
The negative Alpha Fuel reviews are another reason we don’t feel comfortable recommending this product. If you want to learn about top-notch T boosters, check out our Testosterone Boosters page.
