Animal Test Testosterone Booster Review

Animal Test ReviewAnimal Test is a testosterone booster by Universal Nutrition that is deservingly popular, but is it really one of the best? We recommend several other T boosters before this one for a reason despite its exceptionally high overall potency.

Check out this Animal Test review to learn what knocked it down in the rankings, and be sure to see what supplements we prefer over it by reading our Top 10 Testosterone Boosters article.

The Claimed Benefits of Animal Test

  • Could help speed up muscle growth
  • Contains components that can support proper recovery
  • Can help increase strength and endurance
  • Energy levels could be naturally boosted

How Does Animal Test Work?

Animal Test works in a similar fashion to most natural testosterone supplements except that it uses pretty unique ingredients. Generally, test boosters use a lot of the same ingredients across the board because of how widely some of them are believed to work. This one however chose to take a slightly different approach.

While the approach may be different, the concept remains the same. Natural ingredients can help to promote an increase in natural, authentic testosterone levels, which can theoretically lead to a wide array of benefits. Men don’t want to engage in hormone therapy to boost their T levels because it comes with too many side effects, and the testosterone is synthetic.

When you go with a natural test booster, the testosterone that you could experience an increase in is real, genuine testosterone being produced by your body. That is why natural supplements are so much better then choosing to do hormone therapy.

While some test boosters can have other goals, Animal Test is geared almost entirely towards muscle growth. This is good for any of you bodybuilders or weight lifters out there…however, we still don’t think this is your best bet. In our opinion, it would be in your best interest to steer clear of Animal Test and check out some of our other testosterone booster reviews.

Animal Test Ingredients – Does It Work?

Our biggest issue with this supplement lies right before your eyes on the nutrition label. There is a long list of ingredients, many of which could be very beneficial. However, all of these ingredients are hidden within proprietary blends.

This means that we can’t see the individual dosages for each ingredient and therefore do not know exactly how we feel about this supplement. Our inability to be confident in it because of the use of proprietary blends is essentially what caused it to drop in the rankings.

Pro-Androgen Complex

The first proprietary blend contains about six different ingredients for a total potency of 2,500 milligrams per serving. That’s a pretty high potency, but since individual dosages are not disclosed, we don’t know how much of each ingredient is in there.

With that said, there are promising ingredients such as Yohimbe Bark Extract, Utrica Dioica, and Agaricus Bisporus. Yohimbe is not actually considered to be a direct testosterone booster but can lead to benefits that are often reported with test boosters such as enhanced sexual performance.

Utrica Dioica has been shown to help prevent testosterone from binding to other hormones that can often in turn make it less effective or less easy to utilize. So while this is again not directly a testosterone booster, it does play a pretty important role.

Hypertrophic Response Complex

The second proprietary blend contains Arachidonic Acid, Grapefruit, and Bioperine. We think they could have selected better ingredients for this blend, however these are not terrible. Grapefruit is said to help reduce estrogen levels, which could lead to a more beneficial T booster overall.

Bioperine is believed to improve nutrient absorption, which means that your body could be more effectively able to utilize the ingredients you are ingesting.

The Final Verdict

While there are some positive things to say about Animal Test, we think it is overall really just an average supplement. At first the high potency makes it very intriguing, but as we dove further into the label, we didn’t really like what we found. We don’t recommend Animal Test and would encourage you to browse amongst what we believe to be the Top 10 Testosterone Boosters.
