Jenna Dewan’s late night shred sessions for the win
She dances like nobody’s business. She’s toned beyond belief. How does the 37-year old mom do it? Between her work as an actress, host, dancer, businesswoman and mom, Jenna Dewan is one busy achiever—and she’s totally killing her workouts too. That probably doesn’t surprise you, but her fitness routine might.
Dewan and trainer Jennifer Johnson go through a number of dance routines for 45 minutes to one hour at a time. Dewan fits them into her week whenever she can—and many times, that means a late night gym sesh. What do these dance workouts look like? A lot like twerking. From a trampoline warm-up, the pair moves into 12 reps and 3-4 sets of barbell hip thrusts, finishing them up with pulses and more twerking. They follow the same rep-sets with yoga ball tuck-ups, hanging tuck-ups and a number of other workouts to keep her fitness on par. The body part she trains the hardest for? Her backside. Barbell lunges and deadlifts shred and keep her in prime shape.
Dewan and Johnson created a video demonstrating 5 On The Go Exercises For Busy Moms to share a fast secret to fitness with other hard-working moms who just don’t have the time to devote to spending hours at the gym. When short on time, Dewan busts twerking moves like “Jenna Squats,”armbandd extensions, band leg extensions, band leg butt ups, sliding abs raddle ups and sliding ab open close cross.
But because true fitness is about more than just working out hard, Dewan also maintains a mostly vegan and vegetarian diet, ensuring good nutrition is a solid part of her daily routine. She was named one of the “Sexiest Vegans” of 2017.
Britney Spears is going for strength
Britney Spears’ 90s music videos inspired more than a few girls to want to channel the bubblegum popstarlet and get in the best shape of their lives. Several decades, kids and a lot of drama later, the Vegas-residing star is still kicking butt in the fitness and fame arenas. And her Instagram feed and this video of her newest strength training routine is feeding the fitness frenzy.
Spears’ routine has traditionally been filled with a number of workouts to keep things interesting and avoid the dreaded workout rut or hitting a plateau. From at-home workouts sessions that include everything from handstands, splits, ab workouts with a box, single-leg deadlifts, squat to overhead presses, rows in plank and dumbbell workout videos—Spears is killing it. The pop star is savvy about hitting the hiking trails and pulling out her yoga mat to vinyasa her way to mental and physical health.
And because it takes lots of strength to dance as hard as she does, she’s focusing on strength building to power her though her upcoming tour. By tossing in some sumo squats, kettle bell swings and other weight training routines, the popstar is whipping herself into quite possibly the best shape of her life—as if she’s ever been anything less than that.
Halle Berry’s fitness tips may just be the best age-defying solution of all

The actress is shifting her focus from simply acting to her latest endeavor: Hallewood, a wellness and lifestyle site that is set to inspire and engage people to live fitter, healthier, more beautiful and stylin’ lives. The Oscar winning actress is rebranding herself as a health guru and lifestyle expert—and unlike many celebs turned “gurus”, it seems Berry actually has a leg (or a head) to stand on. Unlike the hordes of 30 and 40 year old actresses touting perfection and sometimes quaky lifestyle tips, Berry has maintained amazing fitness despite a diabetes diagnosis and a past riddled with domestic and emotional violence.
Still, Berry says that at 51, she’s in “the best shape of [her] life.” And her nutrition regimen? A Ketogenic diet, protein powders and pre-workout shakes to amp her up like the empowered women she wants to play.

It’s a stress reliever (God knows I’ve needed that over the years), makes you feel relaxed, optimistic and those endorphins are just heavenly!”
Before you think you have to have a membership to some luxury gym to get fit like Berry, think again. She advocates “a living room, a patio, a kitchen floor, a driveway or a backyard” to get yourself healthy and fit.
